About First Church
Why We Exist
First Church exists to help people find Jesus so they can know Him and live the abundant life that He offers.
Jesus says in John 10:10, “I have come so that you might have life, and that you might have it more abundantly.”
This is our hope for you, everyone in our community, and around the world.
Connect to God
God wants to know us personally. More than just practicing religion, He wants a relationship with us. Our weekend services are where we focus on that relationship. Whether you're new to faith, have questions, or have been a Christ follower for a long time, our services are a safe place to learn more about what it means to know God and grow closer to Him.
Connect to Others
One of the ways God designed for us to live in freedom is to have people in our life to help us in the journey. Connecting with others in First Church Connect Groups is a practical and enjoyable way to find that kind of life-changing community.
Connect to Purpose
This is God's ultimate plan for our life – to make a difference in the lives of others. When we do, the Bible tells us we will experience joy. Through the First Church Dream Team, we hope to connect every person to an opportunity to live out their calling by using their gifts and talents to serve others in the church and the community.

Lead Pastor
Meet Pastor Daryle and Lynita Williams and their family.
Pastor Daryle Williams grew up in Florida, but his favorite sport is snow skiing – go figure. As a young man he fell in love with Lynita and they were married in 1994. Together they have three children – Reeve, Haley, and Elin. In 2011 God called them to Fayetteville to be a part of the First Church family.
